My partner and have been for lunch and dinner a number of times over the last month. Each time the food and staff have been excellent. They also do lovely cocktails. Well worth a visit.

This is one of my favourite restaurants, if you want good food and reasonably priced then this is the place. From starters to main to deserts , all very well served and cooked. We will definately be returning very soon. I have also tried their Sunday roast which again I can't fault. Thankyou .
Returning to the Mews for what must be our 3rd or 4th time, we knew what to expect and were not disappointed this time around! Attending this time with friends to whom we had recommended the restaurant to after having been the previous times and having impressed above all other restaurants in the Southend area, we had an exceptional evening.... Lovely restaurant and bar with very friendly staff. We have been to the Mews on several occasions for a Sunday Roast and its one of the best roasts I've ever had! The portions are very generous and the the meat and vegetable selections are very good. Love the ambience of the restaurant and its always nice to have a drink... More

When we visited Mews 2 years ago, we felt this was the nicest restaurant in the area - great food, great atmosphere. So we were really disappointed last night. Very lovely Sunday lunch. Stylish place with really friendly and attentive staff (our waitress was wonderful). The food was fabulous - high quality, all beautifully cooked and presented - the portions were generous too! Most of us had the Sunday roast....lamb, beef and chicken - all great. Child friendly too. This is a gem of a place...but don't tell anyone,... More

Had an excellent Saturday evening out with friends at The Mews. Menu was imaginative and everything was cooked really well. Service was attentive but informal and loved that we could go downstairs after an dance our dinner off. Recommend for parties of friends who like a lively restaurant.
