Superb vfm Sunday carvery. Three different meats to choose from and a mountain of veg...... all for £10. Pleasant surroundings and a cosy bar - will definitely return for a cheap and cheerful lunch. Would recommend if in the area.

Obviously the 3 out of 5 dot grading is disappointing, but what I'm really concerned about it that you say the pub smells of dog. I've been around every part of the public areas today and there's no hint of an unpleasant smell, anywhere. We...More

While this was no fine dining experience it was reasonably priced, unpretentious pub food and the staff were friendly and helpful. I chose a lamb curry which was tasty enough but they looked completely blank when I requested some mango chutney.More

The food was excellent. A good menu, with vegetarian choices available. The staff there were very friendly, and efficient. The pub has been refurbished since our last visit. The prices were also reasonable.
