Drove here with my friend, his wife and their little dog. We parked up and entered the premises' covered terrace...only for 2 dogs to appear, barking and harassing my friend's little dog...who being both trained and well behaved...never reacted. We are then told by the...More

THIS IS NOT A FAIR “REVIEW” The Dog and Crook closes at 3.00pm Monday to Thursday. I closed the pub at 3.00 pm on Tuesday leaving a couple sat outside at the front of the pub finishing their drinks in the sunshine. The garden and...More

Thank you so much for your lovely review. As an independent pub We try very hard to provide good food, beer and service, I’m glad we are achieving that! Kind regards Karen

Brilliant and really good value. Staff so friendly and helpful. Very local to us but would recommend to anyone. A real English pub / restaurant that has got it just right!

Thank you for your lovely review. We are a traditional, old English pub with our low beamed ceilings and open fire , we have always tried not to become a trendy, gastro pub , we prefer the cosiness and welcome you get when you walk...More

Family anniversary meal for 11. Lovely pub, friendly staff, varied menu, excellent food (including desserts which I often find are a 'bought in' let down). The ONLY thing that stopped me giving a 5 star rating was that service and attention to detail, even minor...More

Unfortunetly the bar staff showed no interest from the time we arrived until the time we left where upon they all were delighted to say goodbye?! I had to chase the staff for drinks, menus and food. All a very surreal experience and to be...More
