What a lovely restaurant.... Love the interior. Service good. Food great. Expensive.... But smashing. Only 2 things to moan about the complementary bread rolls were far to hard.... Would have been nicer if softer to save people's teeth. Also I don't have dairy milk in my coffee only soya or almond. They never had any..... For a restaurant of this... More

Three for dinner on Easter Bank Holiday Monday. This is the second time my wife and I have been to a meal with high expectations, the first time with friends and this time with our son. An excellent starter (buffalo carpaccio) was followed by a watery main course, calling itself Haddock kedgeree. It was not kedgeree in the strict sense,... More

Popped in here for lunch and what a treat. We had some of the light bites for starter - chorizo balls and white bait. Both lovely. Kedgeree for mains. We were so full and the food and service was fantastic. We will definitely return.

The Greyhound had been on our list of eateries to visit for a while, after I saw it mentioned in Twitter last year and shared the then menu with my friend. The venue is a little anachronistic in this day and age as there is no online booking facility like Open Table or similar, so I used my phone in... More

This place has been on my 'must eat here' list for a while and I am very glad I found out about it because it was completely worth it in all honesty. The food was, hands done superb and is not far from Michelin Star standard for me (It comes close to The Woodspeen Nr Newbury) - the menu changes... More

My wife and I booked a table for a mid week lunch in April. Just as well we did as the place was packed and people were being turned away! The atmosphere in this charming Georgian pub is comfortable and welcoming. The staff are equally welcoming and charming. IO can only describe our lunch time experience as near to perfect.... More

Enjoyed a wonderful lunch at the Greyhound. Menu is wide ranging and interesting. Food is obviously prepared with care and is presented with style. Our first visit - will not be our last.

Good atmosphere, solicitous staff and a good selection of fine food and drink. Quaint bar with low ceilings.

We were recommended to go to the Greyhound last time we were in Stockbridge and i am very glad to we were not disappointed. Firstly the service was second to none they could not do enough for us including making up a whole dish of sliced cucumber for Jorja which I know doesn't sound much but when it's a five... More

Met a couple of friends here for lunch and can highly recommend it. The food is fresh, cooked well and presently beautifully. It is straightforward food served in a lovely setting - a pub that is much more of a restaurant. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and prices were reasonable. Veggie options are a bit limited, but... More
