Although I am a native of this area I had not set foot on Bringsty common since I was a boy. The area is delightful and idyllic on a hot summer's day. Although this was November the sun was shining. The pub is lovely with...More

Before I write this review I'd like to say I have cooked in pubs and know what food should taste like. Pros: Fab location, wonderful walks and good beer. Small dish of veg, it was at least fresh. Cons: Roast Beef, well cooked, just ok....More

Beautiful setting gorgeous views and fantastic beer. I'm giving it three stars as we weren't blown away by the food and the kids meals were £10 and seemed little more than frozen burgers and nuggets etc. Not gastro.
