The welcome is friendly and the restaurant is cozy. The service excellent. Our starters were well-tasted and well served. The steak was excellent. Everything was complete and well balanced. The wine and cider excellent. There is a fantastic garden. The price quality excellent.

What a fantastic pub/restaurant. Food and beer were great and reasonably priced but it was the welcome and the fantastic staff that made it such a great place to visit in the evening.
