Food ok but nothing special. Fish pie was especially bland with no real flavour or smoked fish. Scallops chewy and liver was more like a soup with a watercress garnish. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Table of 12 had to preorder but couldn't fault one thing,service superb and staff smiley, setting nice, large car park, huge portions, food quality was amazing, can`t wait to go back ,if they'd been open Christmas day would've booked there and then !!

I guess this is a question that can only be answered by the landlady. By the way, interpreting someone's facial expression is highly subjective and fraught with difficulties. What is a "dirty look"?
