Quite a find - an independent, friendly, warm and welcoming station café. Not a national chain and all the better for it. A pleasant place to stop for a coffee or a smoothie and a bite of lunch. Reasonably priced too. Really good atmosphere - well done to the owners.

This was a really surprising find at the station - most station coffee shops are a bit naff and run by a chain - not this place. The staff are really friendly and the prices reasonable and the food (I didn't eat there) looked really fresh. It's a shame they have to rely on the station for loos as they... More

We had walked from Ramsgate to Margate and had 30 mins before we caught the train back. Good spot, comfy sofas as well as tables to eat at in roomy space. Warm welcome from staff. Not at all what is the sad state of affairs in other station cafes. Reasonable selection of sandwiches/snacks. a good spot. Delicious Kent crisps!

Pleased we found this staying at Premier inn and came here rather than Brewers fayre - the café is clean - wholesome and cheap - strongly recommend if you are staying in Margate - would be nice if it did some toast! the coffee is good too

Fab cafe. So nice that it's individual and not just some station chain cafe. Great staff, great vibe. Communtiy notices. Good stuff!

This cafe is located off the entrance hall of Margate Station. I went in at about 12 noon on Saturday for lunch and found a good range of sandwiches and jacket potatoes on offer. There are comfy sofas as well as upright chairs and tables. The decor and general ambience are retro in a good way. The girl who served... More

Warm, cosy and comfortable without ever being old-fashioned. A selection of different seating types to go with the excellent selection of hot and cold snacks (and not your usual mass-produced nonsense either). Independently owned and run with permanently friendly staff who know their jobs and a location right next to the station --- but also almost right on (and within... More

Yesterday I rode the train to Margate late in the afternoon, Sunday too, and thought we would stop in for a bite. Because we were between trains time was short. Because it was so late in the afternoon I expected the station buffet to be closed or at least understaffed, with just the dregs left. I was so wrong. We... More

Travelled by train to Margate for a day out and stopped for coffee and pastries here. What a gem of a place! Nothing like your average station facilities at all. Comfy sofas and low tables as well as dining tables and chairs. A great menu selection and delicious food and drinks. Whole place was spotless and staff were very friendly... More
