Fantastic food and lovely atmosphere. Roast beef was amazing and all the deserts are home made, we both had the Raspberry Pavlova and it was lovely. Traditional Pub with lovely attentive Staff and great food. We will return and would recommend without question.

Attentive staff, not very comfortable, fairly limited menu with some "specials". However the food did not live up to expectations. Avoid the chicken escalope, seemed to have been cooked several times and the mushroom sauce lacked ingredients I.e. mushrooms. Deserts were also sadly lacking. As a pub I am sure it is okay. Sorry to sound so negative but we... More

Popped into this pub a few times and it's nice and cosy. Not tried the food but looks decent. Would be nice if they had a wider selection of ales - one or two local craft ales to support the local small breweries would be good. Not sure if it's brewery-tied which may explain it. Last time I went all... More

Great value for money and affordable for a family. We had booked for a late sitting and yet were not made to feel as if we needed to rush our meal. Far from it the staff could not do enough to help. Sea Bass was great as was the steak. We have visited this pub and restaurant many many times... More

We have been threatening to visit this pub for quite a while and finally got around to Booking a table. There is a small Restuarant area behind the pub area. The menu was varied and plenty of options. I had the sea bass which was from the specials board. It was really tasty. It was a very friendly atmosphere. We... More
