Busy and noisy upon arrival - lots of children and parents. Ideal setting for this, as lots of toys available for toddlers to be with parents in a safe environment

We visit Whitstable a few times a year and we always try to visit this cafe. It is a nice, modern cafe with an outdoor area great for people watching. Food is OK, we had jacket potatoes, salad, sandwiches, etc. All very good.

This should be a gem with its fantastic views from the balcony, but there isn't much choice of food and its all looking a bit shabby.

Called at horsebridge cafe today, didn't realise until too late that it's some type of 'pop-up cafe' this weekend. Lots of people there who must have been friends of the people running the show - maybe be a good thing to see if customers need...More

I go in here often, when the rest of the high St is manic - this place is usually quiet...and its soon obvious why. The staff are always very cheerful and polite - but so incredibly slow. There's sometimes more staff than customers, but you'll...More

We had a very nice lunch whilst visiting Whitstable last week. The sandwiches were made to order and from really nice thick granary bread which was soft in the middle with crisp crust, obviously baked locally. This café stocks a good range of flavours of...More

The Horsebridge Cafe is the perfect place for a decent coffee and a snack. Avoid Costa coffee and the chains and visit the Horsebridge for a slice of authentic Whitstable community atmosphere. There is comfortable seating, a fair weather verandah with oblique sea views and...More
