Food was excellent. Particular the steak and dessert! Staff were great, polite and well mannered. Bar staff also great when selecting a wine to accompany our meals.

Very disappointed. at 1.30 there was very little meat left and no one to cut the meat which was very dry. We had to ask the bar staff to get someone to cut the meat. She went to the hotel to get someone. It took 20 minutes to get served at the bar, there was only one person serving and... More

Stayed at the hotel during a visit to a family Christening. The bar area was full of women in bathrobes and slippers having their hair done, not really the sort of activity to accompany food. To busy to feed us in the evening, had to go elsewhere to eat.

No greeting on arrival, found one person serving drinks in the adjacent bar who just told us to help ourselves!. Food of a very poor standard and lukewarm. Tables dirty, floor filthy.

Stayed at the hotel for a weekend and visited the pub after our spa treatments and had a couple of relaxing drinks before we went back to our room to get ready for the evening.friendly staff handing out free mince pies as it was Christmas weekend.

Lovely meal well cooked. Although the service wasn't the quickest. The staff were friendly and overall it was a great night.

We popped for a coffee. Tables dirty and full of glasses, plates etc. Nobody cane to clean the tables in 15 mins we were sat there. I went and ordered three coffees. They had "ran out of the normal cups", so gave two of the coffees in smaller "one shot cups".. same price! My own fault for not walking away.... More

My partner and I went to The Drop Inn pub, in the quaint Last Drop Village, Bolton for a drink. The drop inn from outside looked amazing, like stepping into a qwerty quaint village, although inside the furniture and decor was very dated and looked shabby. There wasn't a good variety off drinks behind the bar, and very over priced.... More

Having moved into the area in February this year, it's taken us till August to actually get up to our new 'local' and sample out the Sunday roast that they advertise so much! We've never actually been into the pub before and first impressions were pretty good! The only thing i did notice, was that there wasn't many people there.... More
