We visited on Good Friday, two families of four adults and four young children. We were all very pleased with our means, excellent steak and kidney puddings and burgers for the adults, and some excellent meals for the children. Services was good considering a large party ordering shortly before us and bar service was excellent. Unlike some previous reviewers we... More

I had heard good things about Oddfellows but the place must be having difficulties. Arrived expecting dining in a restaurant but was shown to a small area off the main bar, this wasn't a problem just unexpected. Ordered food no problems, but when the Tempura 'Jenga' vegetables arrived, it wasn't in the shape of Jenga, just lumped on a plate... More

This pub was highly recommended to us by the owner of an hotel nearby as a top-class place to eat. I booked a table for last Thursday and went with family members visiting us and staying in Glossop. In all my years of eating out , i cannot believe the food that was served up to us.Suffice to say that... More

The food was fantastic but the service let it down. Some of the staff were borderline rude, however the bar staff were very nice.

Me and my friend visit on our way through, we had a pint and a sandwich... sounds simple. However, the San Miguel was great and well priced for a country pub. I had steak, mushroom and onion on ciabatta. The steak was excellent, the caramelises onion was so delicious! The young lady who served our drinks and food was very... More

Its expensive but well worth the money and the most beautiful building. Staff always very friendly, service is good, limited parking but mainly used by walkers, it has a really good atmosphere.

The Oddfellows have a steak night Tuesday to Thursday, £25 for two steaks and a bottle of wine. You will not be disappointed. Great food and a great atmosphere. Just watch your head on the low beams.

Im really torn here, part of me loved our visit and part of me wasn't overly impressed, let down by small things that really shouldn't happen when your paying nearly £15 for a Sunday lunch. We called in here for the first time this Sunday for Sunday lunch as we'd heard great things, downstairs was really busy so we were... More

Following a 'local' purchase of the freehold in 2011 and a major refurbishment and upgrade of the building, the 'Oddies'has gone back to a more traditional feel and look. Featured in the Michelin Guide for the last 5 years, customers will always receive a warm and friendly welcome, excellent real cask ales, fine wines and fabulous British food.
