We took advantage of their lunch offer is sandwich coffee and cake for £7.95. Lovely fresh bread, good coffee and yummy cheesecake. The owner landlady was incredibly welcoming and service was excellent! Highly recommended as a stop off a64 near York 😊

Landlady was friendly and made us feel very welcome, the food was excellent and decent sized portion, cozy and traditional pub atmosphere with plenty of room to sit.

Guesstimate would be about 35 minutes but in truth I can't recollect a suitable route bearing in mind you are on a busy dual carriageway. Not even sure if a footpath alongside the road.
