Stopped off in Bamburgh today for a bite to eat and came across the Copper Kettle tearoom. Quite small but quaint inside with very friendly staff. Service is quick even though, for October, the tearoom was full when we entered. I chose delicious kipper in...More

Dreadful experience. After waiting for 15 minutes for a member of staff to acknowledge us my friend finally found a member of staff to ask if we were to order .... That's as far as she got. She was rudely told to sit back down...More

This is a great little spot in Bamburgh, easy walking distance from the famous Castle. Great scones and tea with lots of other snack choices. Friendly attentive staff in quaint building. Consistently in top group of UK tea rooms rated by Tea Guild!

Friendly, speedy service, without being too hasty! Cracking soups and scones, a lovely enjoyable treat. Tearooms elsewhere should follow The Copper Kettles' lead, an unhurried, pleasant stop for "tea and stickies"

I can only go by my own experience. Food was good. Staff were fine. Toilets were being re-doored.
