Haven't been here for a couple of years and if anything the food was even better. Also the food shop for bits and pieces was a joy for my wife

Wanted somewhere for a quick cake and a cuppa and saw the signs for this place. Once we walked you could smell the home made chutneys been made in the back. Place is a bit tired, could do with a freshen up. All staff really polite and quickly looked after us. I had a cheese scone and my partner had... More

We only stopped for tea and scones and almost changed our minds as the exterior doesn't impress. The adjacent car park/aged caravan resting place also fails the ambience test. BUT, once inside we found friendly and efficient service, very generous pots of tea with extra boiling water supplied without need to ask and lovely big fruit scones. The jam was... More

I only stopped for a cup of tea whilst at work, so can't comment on the food, tea was nice, hot, lovely clean cup and table. However the chintzy old fashioned style would have put me off stopping longer, it needs a kick into this century, the setting is lovely, and easy access just off the A1.

Good value three course lunch with various choices. Not great surroundings and much as others have said it could do with a bit of paint here and there. However the food was super and the sweets particularly big portions. The staff were friendly and efficient.

We have been going to Oxford Farm tea rooms for years and have introduced many friends too. It is a great end to an afternoon following a walk on nearby beaches and countryside. Oxford tea is especially recommended and the family and staff there are very friendly.

a missed opportunity here. Could be lovely but unfortunately it's dated, a bit dirty and frankly, an eyesore. I didn't want to eat much - just as well, as little choice for vegetarians. Service was a little dour. There is so much local produce they could sell. And it needs a complete overhaul. The outside is appalling. Weeds and rubbish.... More
