What a cracking place this is. Not just set in the lovely Northumbrian Holy Island, in a fabulous old building set around a stone courtyard but serving some of the best coffee I have had in a long time. Go take a look in the yurt where thy roast their own coffee - speak with the the very enthusiastic roaster... More

If you find yourself in need of a coffee stop when visiting Holy island, a delightful place to stop is the Pilgrims Coffee house. Every taste is catered for in this well run establishment. Choices of milks-dairy and non dairy versions, lots of food choices, including vegetarian and vegan. I can especially recommend the delish scones with fresh clotted cream... More

I had soup and sandwich + pot of tea for lunch - which was lovely. I sat outside in the garden area, little birds flew down trying catch the crumbs.

I am so glad we found this gem of a place - was a gift to find. My family group decided to make the last minute decision to cross the causeway and head to Holy Island. As we had been driving for a couple of hours we thought about heading to the island but totally expected to have mistimed the... More

Stopped for a quick drink and a snack. Ended up with an americano and a carrot cake. Both good, garden full of house sparrows that ate crumbs of visitors hand! Interestingly different which some may not like; everything is served to be recycled, paper cups, paper plates etc but still worth a visit if hungry &/or thirsty

It's quirky, the food is fab and the staff are so friendly. Coffee drinkers loved theirs, fruit tea that I had was so tasty. Ham and cheese panini was voted as wonderful, I had fresh crab in a roll - it was delicious. Hubby enjoyed scone pudding, like bread and butter pudding but made with scones, served warm. Well worth... More

We sat inside as it was rainy and found the cafe has a unique atmosphere, real character and welcoming feel. It is hard to define its style, probably beach side, surfer cafe? It is rustic with recyclable cutlery, cups etc, cupboards that look like they are made from old palettes and local artwork . It could have felt tatty but... More

A day exploring the history and scenery of Lindisfarne certainly builds up an appetite, so Pilgrims was a welcome sight, especially when it's sunny enough to sit out in their lovely garden. Among several vegan choices we went for the jacket potato with vegan chilli and a salad, followed by a piece of their trademark "Cuthbert" slice. Generous portions seem... More

Great coffee, good choice of places to sit. You can get packs to take away with you. Didn't eat here but the menu looked good.
