I said most of this in my review of Eshott Hall as a hotel, however in case someone is searching the restaurants here goes. Dinner, the menu was varied and appealing and overall executed really very well, you could be picky and find some ways you might improve it (my tartin which came with my starter had very soggy pastry,... This is a long review, but the gist is, this could be a very good hotel, but there are several areas which need improving. For us, it did not quite hit the mark. The staff could not be faulted, the food is good but not outstanding, except breakfast, which needs some work. We visited this hotel for a 2 night... More

Stayed here Friday and Saturday night on a Travelzoo deal so it was really good value. The grange was fully booked but happy to pay extra to stay in the Hall and very lucky to get the Versailles room- beautiful and luxurious- such a treat. Staff extremely friendly and welcoming. The 3 course dinner was very good and breakfast delicious... More

My husband and I have been to Eshott Hall several times before, but always for lunch. This visit was for Afternoon Tea with my Aunt and a friend. Our completely empty plates spoke for themselves - it was DELICIOUS! Especially the light and tangy cheese scones and the equally tasty fruit ones with the gorgeous home-made bramble jam (and clotted... More

I took my wife here over Christmas for her birthday. We stayed for 1 night in the drey, our stay included 3 course meal and breakfast. The room was lovely and had a huge bath and shower. The food was really nice, particularly the mushroom and chorizo starter! As we had our labrador bruno with us, the staff set up... More

Stayed here for one night but wish I could have afforded to stay longer. When we arrived we got a free room upgrade. Our room was very impressive. Had mulled wine in the library and then had 3 course dinner in the dining room. The food was delicious and the staff were warm, friendly and helpful. Had a very good... More

Came with my son, his girlfriend and their new puppy for my husbands birthday. A very warm welcome, especially for the puppy. We had an enormous deluxe room with a fabulous bathroom and lovely deep bath. Very welcome after a freezing walk . My son had a luxury room, complete with four poster bed, all in the main house. Very... More
