Called for a late lunch. The 'dog' end was fairly busy but the rest of the pub was virtually empty! Between the 4 of us we struggled to be impressed with the food. It was just OK. At least the dog was happy!

We were very disappointed with the menu. The chef's special was a burger! We enjoyed a drink and the great views but left to find better options

Pub is lovely inside and has stunning views of the harbour, boats and Farne Isles. Beer was disappointing and over priced as was the food. I only had a soup, which was heavenly in all fairness, but other dishes more expensive came out overcooked, with burnt edges and £10 plus for a sandwich and chips, is a bit steep in... More

Situated on the only through road. Parking is limited outside but there is a carpark within a short walking distance. Bar area a little small with not enough staff over busy holiday period. Good choice of menu and specials on board Some nice old fixture and fittings mixed with some modern traditional features Pleasant views over Bamburgh Castle

Lovely place. We didn't eat here but we stopped off for a quick drink. I have to say that I felt a little uncomfortable as all the tables were really set up for food and there wasn't enough areas of seating for a quick relaxing drink. It was nice and cheap though for a lovely pint of Stella

Thank you for leaving this review, so sorry you felt uncomfortable. We do our best in making everyone happy - it is a little difficult to have a separate place for people who aren't eating as we are very popular and get very busy at times. We do hope to see you back again soon. More
