The restaurant is no more than 20 miles from where we live, but for some strange reason, it has never been on our radar. However, we were invited by friends for Saturday evening dinner, and finally got to experience what the fuss is all about....More

Loved all we ate - the Langar Lamb was succulent and the desserts terrific. Unhurried and highly professional service from the whole team. Great attention to detail yet friendly and relaxed. Great views over the Hall Gardens too.

My family had a lovely meal celebrating Mum’s 60th birthday. The staff were very welcoming, nothing was too much trouble and it was a fantastic experience, with personalised menus which was great! The meal was fabulous and I would definitely recommend Langar Hall!

Great choice locally sourced where possible. Very much depends on time of year. All beautifully presented too. Gluten free food available for husband, we always mention when booking table.

Description
Just a short hop from the non-stop of Nottingham, Langar Hall is a million miles from the citys buzz. Set in a small country hotel, it combines an historic atmosphere with sophisticated dcor and delicious fine dining. Popular with locals and visitors, Langar Halls intimate dining room has a classic sophistication, with white tablecloths and gleaming tableware, which makes every meal feel like a special occasion. The menu is equally simple and classic, reflecting the English country house style in the use of local ingredients, including a good line in meats and cheeses from nearby farms the true taste of Nottinghamshire couldnt be further from mushy peas and mint sauce.
