Great venue and grounds, like the Emperors cloths, food a real let down, will not be visiting again, unless they up their game, or listen to the people who pay a not inconcequential sun for mediocre food at best.

Just been to Langer Hall for my mother’s birthday lunch. It’s an amazing venue with attentive staff and food obviously cooked by a chef with great attention to detail, can’t wait to go back!

There’s a lack of excellent restaurants in the Vale of Belvoir and Langar Hall thankfully stands out. The food is tremendous. The cheese soufflé was excellent, salmon appetizer was good; mains of beef (not large though) and perfectly cooked as I had ordered. Puddings were...More

Great choice locally sourced where possible. Very much depends on time of year. All beautifully presented too. Gluten free food available for husband, we always mention when booking table.

Description
Just a short hop from the non-stop of Nottingham, Langar Hall is a million miles from the citys buzz. Set in a small country hotel, it combines an historic atmosphere with sophisticated decor and delicious fine dining. Popular with locals and visitors, Langar Halls intimate dining room has a classic sophistication, with white tablecloths and gleaming tableware, which makes every meal feel like a special occasion. The menu is equally simple and classic, reflecting the English country house style in the use of local ingredients, including a good line in meats and cheeses from nearby farms the true taste of Nottinghamshire couldn't be further from mushy peas and mint sauce.
