Stayed here last night. When we arrived they had a cancellation so offered us a choice of 2 rooms.. one with a double bed, the other with twin beds. We opted for the twin because it was a brighter, larger room. A few minutes later...More

Food was nice but awful portion sizes for the money! Chips you get about 10! I paid £2.50 aswell i was so disappointed. Wouldnt recommend the food when there are loads of other pubs near by that give big portions for reasonable prices.More

We went for lunch and as the sun was shiny we sat outside. The people were very welcoming and friendly. The food was so fresh and local produce. The sandwiches were doorstep size and were delicious.

Went for an afternoon drink and the Hobsons beer was very good. Nice cosy atmosphere helped by the open log fire. Friendly staff.

Took the family here for a rather impromptu lunch. Such a pleasant atmosphere, helpful staff and very good value. It's a pub, with grub, nothing OTT. The specials board is worth looking olongapo at as this compliments and main lunch menu.

We consider this pub as our "local" although we live in the next village. We meet our friends there for a quick pint in the week and invariably end up staying all evening!! Always a friendly welcome from the Barman, Luke, and the lovely Manager,...More

This pub satisfies 4 of our 6 steps to pub heaven: It is dog and wheelchair friendly; serves real ale and has a convivial atmosphere. We dropped in for a lunchtime break and each enjoyed a very reasonably priced bowl of soup and cheese roll....More
