Situated out of town, well worth the drive. We were a party of four. We received a genuinely warm welcome from friendly and helpful staff. The drink selection is excellent. We were all very impressed with out food, 2 x ribs with extras, a liver and onions and prawn pasta. The food was delicious and plentiful. The staff were attentive... More

Outstanding service from start to finish. The food was great and worth every penny. A special mention should be given to Meg, Carly and Jen who were particularly polite and diligent. I couldn't recommend the Jack Mytton highly enough!

Stumbled across this country pub after an impromptu trip to Oswestry. Big signs off the main road drew us in. We had a lovely family lunch and enjoyed the cosy atmosphere. The waitress was very friendly and welcoming. A good selection of ales eased us off into the afternoon. The pub is right on the canal and would be a... More

We went for lunch there last Saturday for the first time since the new owners have been there. I was immediately struck by the beautiful furniture and roaring fire, it felt so cosy you automatically felt relaxed. The staff were lovely, our daughter was crawling around the floor (we had the place to ourselves so we let her roam freely)... More

Well bloody hell, it was delicious. The pub itself has that kind of atmosphere that makes you feel like you're at home, the staff are so welcoming and friendly. Definitely worth getting up on a Saturday for! The shoot breakfast is massively brilliant, emphasis on the massive! The farmers buttie was great too. To be fair, we always have a... More
