As always, the food was very good here and the beer and wine is well selected. The manager is friendly and halpful. Nothing is too much trouble. good for winter visits if you have pre-dinner drinks by the open fire.

Lovely village setting, have mostly eaten here lunchtime, they usually do a 2 course special, which is excellent value for money. Lovely outdoor seating area, with views over to Longleat. Carparking, popular with the locals.

We are a traditional English village pub with gardens set in the heart of the Wiltshire countryside, overlooking the Frome valley.
