Love this place. The food was good quality, its home made and its priced right. The selections of Beers, Ciders and Lagers were really good. The decor and furniture are perfect for the place. The staff were very friendly and the service was good. We have 3 small kids, although its not really geared up for them... (They do have... More

OMG - just ensure you're very hungry as the portions are LARGE. Efficient service, plates hot and food very good - just a little too much for some. Good atmosphere and friendly service.

Had a great meal and you could take dogs in with you. Only down sidewe were stuck in a little room with not much space. Great waitress service will be going back again.

After a walk around and about this stunning area we called in for lunch. Very welcoming bar staff and locals at the bar. Made ourselves comfy at the side of the log burning stove with a pan of stock on top simmering away. The soup was delicious, as was the rest of our food. Called here many times since that... More

Great menu, Sunday roasts and other choices. Staff polite and friendly, I would definitely book on a Sunday! We walked around Tittesworth then had lunch, sat in the beer garden, lovely view of the roaches!

Ok, you won't find this on your way, it is in a lovely secluded spot, but well worth a visit, if your travelling from Leek towards Buxton, then this is the place to grab something to eat, well worth the detour.

We are here after a long walk in the local area and thoroughly enjoyed it. We had booked well in advance as it gets very busy, especially at weekends. It was lovely to be able to take our dog inside this relaxed and friendly pub restaurant yet not have to compromise on quality. The portions were generous and everything we... More

Went to the Lazy Trout with one of my good friends for a Sunday lunch - I had the beef dinner it was delicious and came out piping hot. Would highly recommend if you're in the area - but do call up and book if you can as they're often fully booked, particularly on weekends 👍🏼
