I have eaten food from here for many years and have noticed the quality has started to slip recently. Today was probably the worst Chinese I have ever tasted and it's safe to say I will not be eating or ordering from here again. It's a shame as this used to be one of the better Chinese restaurants in Tamworth... More

I visited this restaurant this evening and have come home very disappointed with the attitude of the staff. We felt so uncomfortable at being constantly stared at by staff, that we felt we had to leave. Our dining experience lasted a full 35 minutes from sitting down to leaving! It wasn't the enjoyable night out we had expected. We were... More

Just had a take away at 1900 on a one off Saturday night visit for a take away. As always very busy but tonight the quality of the food was awful. The duck was off cuts no breast, the beef was tough, the ribs no where near usual standard. One set of noddles paid for was missing and the meal... More

Service wasn't the best but it was a very busy restaurant so booking is a must!! Food was freshly cooked, portions were just right and tasted really good! Not as expensive as thought it may be either!

Decent food and nice staff. All came very quickly and really wasn't that bad considering I am not a massive fan of Chinese food. Would defo go again and nice for couples or a big group

Well I can honestly say that for all the Chinese restaurants Ive eaten in the US, Canada, Europe, and the UK, the Peninsular is by far the best and most consistent one. The food is great and the service is great, I'd agree that the restaurant needs a make over, but that doesn't detract from the fact that its still... More

On business we stay at Drayton Manor this is just a short 5min drive away. Food is just OK hence rating the decor is a bit tired and in need of a paint.
