Fish Frenzy is a little fish and chip shop/café located on the beach front in Burnie. The location is great with great views overlooking the water. Seating avalible inside and out. The different seating options make it a good spot for a long lunch or dinner with friends. While inside can get a bit noisy (but not too bad) so... More

Cool place, very casual. You can sit outside, have a beer or two and people watch, right on the beach. We sampled a couple local fish-dishes and they were just fine! Order at the counter and they'll bring it to you. Some nice bottled beers, and you're all set for a leisurely lunch on a nice day

My husband and I had dinner here the other night, and the food was delicious. He had the fish and chips, and I had the scallop, prawn and vegetable stir-fry. Both excellent. The restaurant is right on the beach, and is very casual (although a bit loud). Seemed as though a lot of locals go there. It's a perfect place... More

Beautiful sea view, with many seagulls just outside area on the beach side of the restaurant. Many customers, very popular, very fast and accurate services. Big amount given on the plates. Happy we have chosen to have lunch there.

Stopped in for a coffee and had an enjoyable view overlooking the beach. Meals served with a nice menu, but we only had coffee today.

Service, good staff friendly, all 3 of our meals, the fish was overley cooked, was like they where unsure if fish was cooked, so they just over cook it to make sure. Venue great, view awesome.

We were very disappointed, the fish was over cooked , dry and hard....we couldn't eat it. The serving size of the chips was too big for one person. Whoever was cooking the night we dined does not know how to cook fish.Staff were friendly location great but the food was lousy.....🙁

Why am I disappointed. Based on TripAdvisor reviews we decided to give it a go. We'd been hiking most of the day and we're salivating at the thought of descent fish and chips, so excited. The service was great and the view of the water fabulous. After choosing Blue Eye with salad and chips and paying a premium price, it... More

Nothing special about the venue except that is close to the promenade and beach. The food was quite acceptable so no complaints about freshness, heat or size of portions. Service was good also. $15 or thereabouts for Fish, chips and salad is very reasonable.
