Lovely way to complete a visit to Woolmers Estate Longford. Delicious home made scones, jam and fresh cream. Great menu for a light lunch, well worth a visit.

Our visit to Woolmers was fabulous but the cafe was not in sync with the rest of the place. Opening only as the tour commenced the ticketing lady made a special request so we could have a coffee before the tour. The cafe owner was...More
Thank you for the feedback as we strive for a positive customer experience.
We got there just as they were closing but the lovely girl let us be seated and we had the best devonshire tea. The jam was the best we had in all Tassie. The cafe will probably move to the new visitors centre soon.
I agree, even though I am a staff member I also think The Servants Kitchen Cafe make the best Devonshire Tea in Tassie. The scones are amazing and the jam is always made here at Woolmers. Thank you for your review, we appreciate your feedback.
Real cream, fresh scones and home made jam, yummy. We had these while we waited for the scheduled guided tour of the old home, which was well worth waiting for!
Even though I am a staff member I totally agree.. They are the best scones I have ever had and I enjoyed them as well. Thank you for your review.
We had a late lunch after a tour of the house. The service was excellent and there was a wide choice of foods available on the menu.
The cafe staff try to keep up the good service so its always nice when we hear positive feedback. The cafe has a blackboard menu that changes regularly and seems they are making the right menu options. Thanks for your review.
The restaurant advertises light lunches and Devonshire teas. However light lunches aren't served after 2pm. We did manage to order soup just in time. And it was delicious. The Devonshire tea was enjoyable too. Probably best to qualify serving times in the future.
Thank you for the feedback. The General Manager is going to address this matter to the Cafe Manger. The Soup and Devonshires are so good and glad you enjoyed your lunch.
We arrived mid afternoon to find we had missed the last house tour ( 2-30 pm). Any thought of afternoon tea was dashed on finding the cafe not open ! It must shut earlier than the closing time or may not even open in winter...More
Dear Sir/ Madam, I am sorry to hear you missed the scheduled 2.00pm tour as well as the Servants Kitchen Cafe being closed. Currently we have 3 scheduled guided Homestead tours per day: 11:15am, 12:30pm and 2:00pm. This because we are a not for profit...More
Visited the Woolmer Estate Homestead and whilst there went to the Servants Kitchen Restaurant for "Devonshire Tea." Although the scones with jam & cream were nice, the scones were very small (about 50mm.) and the percolated coffee was like mud. It was so dreadful that...More
Meals were lovely, homemade and very tasty. Service was very pleasant from the friendly staff. Great coffee. Loved being in the original servants dining room.
Had lunch in this cosy place while waiting for the house tour at the Woolmers Estate to start. The menu is very limited though the food was served quickly and was enjoyable.
