We deserved lunch after climbing the Nut but were needing to move on quickly so settled for a toastie and coffee at the Brown Dog. Excellent food and service from Maddie and my husband said his cappuccino was the best in living memory.

Stopped in for a coffee and decided to try a bowl of the daily soup, which was vegetable and lentil. Oh, bottle this receipe, it had marvellous flovour, with excellent coffee. The shop also has interesting gifts as well.
