A casual relaxed diner atmosphere. Service is good and the meals are like home-cooked. I prefer the entrees to the wraps and sandwiches (which could be a little more flavorful) but All in all, I recommend this place. Berardi's were the original Cedar Point french...fries and the family has a long local history. I particularly recommend the potato soup, which is second to none and the pies are well worth saving room for!More

While on vacation in Sandusky we happened upon this restaurant for dinner. We were seated promptly and looked through their extensive menu, and also the background story of the family. We decided to try the tower of onion rings first. Oh my heavens!! They need...to promote their onion rings instead of their French fries. They are hand battered and the best I have ever had. Don’t miss the onion rings!! Our dinners were delicious. Everything was so tasty and prepared perfectly. My partner also had a margarita which he said was the best he ever had. I didn’t get our servers name but he was very courteous and helpful without hovering. He checked back regularly and filled water without being asked. He was knowledgeable about the menu and offered helpful information to make sure we were happy. Don’t think twice about stopping here! We can’t wait to come back!More

So when you find a place on a Wednesday night with lots of local license plates you know it’s probably a winner. We got there early at 5, and it was filling up fast. I could see a line here after a football game, breakfast...after church etc.. The wait staff are helpful, kind, knew the menu well. You can tell they know the locals and care about them. Now it doesn’t look like a lot from the street, but don’t pass it by! Great food, huge portions, great wait staff. It’s one of the first places I’ve eaten at since Covid that actually looked like they had enough staff. I think that says a lot for their managers. (It has to be hard to run a restaurant in this day) . Loved it!More

We were told about this restaurant from an employee at Cedar Point Amusement Park. I truly enjoyed by birthday meal at this restaurant. The waitress was so friendly. The food plentiful as well. I enjoyed the key lime pie too - it was great! So...thankful we were told about this restaurant - a great local place!More

We went for breakfast and the food is amazing! The bread tasted like it was made in house. If it was later in the day I would’ve wanted to try dessert! Very clean! The staff was great too!

We ate at Berardis three times in 4 days! Everything was delicious. Must try their seafood bisque, homemade pies and cookies. Their breakfast was over the top good. They have the best sausage gravy I have ever had. The homemade cabbage and noodles with kielbasa...is something i will crave. Prices are so reasonable and the staff is very friendly.More

Wait for food was a little long but food was very good. We enjoyed omelettes, bacon, avocado bowl, 2 Special and blueberry muffin. Everything was tasty and reasonably priced.

We arrived after a day at Cedar Point a 1/2 hour before the restaurant closed. We were welcomed and never rushed. The server Brooke was very pleasant and accommodating. Berardi's has a diner atmosphere, but the food is much better than a diner. I had...the quiche Lorraine special with the Berardi house salad. The quiche was hot, delicious and most and the crust was crispy. The house salad has strawberries, mandarin oranges, feta, almonds and cranberries. Delicious! My son had the Philly cheesesteak and asked to substitute beer cheese instead of the white cheddar. They had no problem with the substitution and he said is was very good. My husband and other son had the pork chops and the Reuben, which they said was just okay. We were too full for dessert, but they had a case with baked goods that looked really good. Based on the service and food, I would definitely recommend.More

We’ve had dinner and breakfast here and both were incredible. Breakfast - We had: biscuits and gravy, pancakes and Texas French toast. Eggs were done perfectly. Sausage pattys were divine. Biscuits and gravy was a huge meal with incredible white sausage gravy over fluffy biscuits....Pancakes were huge and fluffy, French toast was 3 huge pieces and very tasty. Dinner - (hint - the fried fettuccini Alfredo sounds strange but it’s one of the top 2 sides I’ve ever had with the other being the fried garlic mashed potatoes at Claussen Grill in OKC) Meatloaf special was excellent with very tasty tomato based gravy. Chicken parm was very crispy with a delicious red sauce and spaghetti and the same sauce. Cajun pasta was tasty with just enough heat. Buttermilk chicken sandwich was very flavorful and very crispy. We split a piece of coconut pie and 2 scoops of salted caramel gelato. Both were great, best salted caramel gelato I’ve had other than one in a now closed place in Grand Cayman. The place isn’t cheap but well worth the price. I’d drive at least 100 miles for another piece of the fried Alfredo and almost as far for everything else. Highly recommended,More

The friendly service and the great food was top notch. The waitress suggested the Philly Steak sandwich and it the best Philly Steak sandwich that both my wife and I ever ate. We had the Cedar Point fries with it. Would of liked to try...the amazing looking pies but we were to full.More

Really good food but the menu pricing is about 33% below the current 2022 pricing so our family of five had a tab of over $100, which did include an appetizer and three desserts, and one soda pop.
