Inconsistent food and service no doubt led to its downfall. Been closed for some time. GREAT facility for someone wanting to open an upscale restaurant.

Even when. They were open the only time I would go there was Sunday brunch. Food and service otherwise were not equal to the prices
This place was great when it was in business. I liked sitting in the back room and looking out onto the balcony. I preferred the balcony when it was not enclosed. There is no other place in Westerville to overlook the water and have dinner...More
I loved Bel Lago. But it is now closed and for sale. They had a very good selection of food and everything I tried there I liked. Sad to see them go :-(
Closed in December 2014. Had a very good wine selection and mid level priced entrees. Offered a very impressive view of the Hoover Reservoir lake from it's window-lined dining room. Also a nice deck on top of the restaurant for warm days in the sun....More
I have been there about five times and the food is fine, but not a good value for the price. Many other upscale restaurants in the area that are priced the same, but give you much more.

Bel Lago has had a fantastic Sunday brunch, best in the city IMHO. Plus a great water view and wonderful service. But today I received an email stating that the were closed effective last Sunday and would open under different ownership and management in a...More
This restaurant's brunch is a cut above, offering both breakfast items and entrees including candied maple bacon, an omelet station and prime rib. They have one of the best locations in the Columbus area, offering a view from their site on Hoover Lake. We haven't...More
Interesting, varied menu choices, not your standard casual dining fare. Manager and staff very knowledgeable about wine, helpful in suggesting pairings. They continue to take their game up, not just another pretty waterfront site.
