If fact this is the oldest cafeteria in OKC. Across from Saint Anthony's Hospital. Good food, old recipes, pie, cake, gravy, fish, Mexican foods, pie, salads, and pie. Lots of old-timers and professionals eat here.

I've always given a restaurant three chances before calling it quits, but I probably should have cut my losses after the first strike and definitely after strike two. The restaurant itself is like something out of the Munsters. Musty, dusty and old. The food isn't much better. The vegetable were over cooked across the board and the meat selections were... More

This place is trapped in 1978. I had the Smothered Steak which was good and so were the Mashed Potatoes and Veggies. I had a slice of Pie that was weird and runny because it is so hot in there, maybe the A/C was broken. My friend had fried chicken that said it tasted like it was cooked in the... More

I'm beginning to think that Oklahoma City just doesn't have any really good restaurants. (That ought to irk some residents or at least light a fire!) We were looking for old style family cooking and did not find it here. The wait staff and other folks were delightful and the food was pitiful. No flavor. The green beans were straight... More

This is the most unbelievable restaurant I have ever been too!! These other reviews are either fake or those writing them are blind and have no taste! The restaurant itself is dark and dingy with a moldy smell and completely outdated everything. The food looked as if it had been setting out for hours or you couldn't even figure out... More

This is a cafe style restaurant. When you enter, you take a tray and move down picking what items you like as you go. You pay for each item. There are daily specials as well as senior citizen discount. Many locals here who have been coming for years so it's "Old Home Week" when you visit. You carry your own... More

I first went to the Boulevard decades ago and it was great (1970s). I was there about five or six years ago for a lunch and it was good, not great. I dropped by there today because I was in the area to get a quick lunch by myself before my next meeting. I was surprised that the parking lot... More

Just got back so this review is as fresh as the food at The Boulevard Cafeteria in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma! All the food looked great and my wife and I ordered the blackened tilapia. We also both also ordered the steamed carrots and vegetable salad. I ordered some barbecue beans and she ordered a piece of chess pie which we... More

Gravies. That's all I remember. gravies covering some mystery meat and piles of potatoes. It's a steam, kitcheny place that lots of war veterans seem to like, plus grand ma's who assess that you could use a few more pounds or so. Family-style cafeteria eating that's a mainstay for old timers.

Oklahoma City, like many, used to filled with many great cafeterias. Their history is long and filled with countless stories. Boulevard has STILL never wavered from its tradition as it slips easily into the 21st Century. They remind me of just how convenient, healthy, and plain fun a cafeteria meal can be. The food has always been fresh and delicious.... More
