We had lunch here. Big 50s themed place. Pretty standard Southern diner fare: chicken fried steak, fried green tomatoes and okra, etc. Everything was good, not fantastic. Generous portions.

Good variety on the menu, too. Would eat here again. Very family friendly. It wasn't very crowded on a weekday about 2 pm.

We all did breakfast at this great diner site. On old Route 66 this cafe has great ambiance and perfect Rte 66 decor. Much bigger inside than it looks from the outside so although they were really busy they had room and we did not have to wait at all. Service was good. Food was great. We'd do this again... More

The cafe inside is a must see. Looks and feels like an old time diner. We appeared to have a new waitress that left a lot to be desired. Took her 10 minutes to hand us our menus then asked us if we knew what we wanted before we had even opened them. Few other problems after that. My wife... More

Went to Tally's for breakfast. I had remembered from my college days back, in the 1990s, how good Tally's cinnamon rolls were and wanted to return and see if they were still as good. They are. My 11 year son was impressed with the size of the cinnamon rolls. "A roll that big for only $3.50?" My chicken fried steak... More

This place is good home cooking. Try the chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes. The home made pies are pretty good.

This is a very busy restaurant on historic Route 66. It has that down home diner ambiance that I love. We were seated right away, and our server soon had our drinks to us. Hubby ordered omelette, and I had the daily special, which was brisket and bologna, with two sides. I was thinking I could do without the bologna,... More

We stop by Tally's when we happen to be in the area, sometimes late night, sometimes for breakfast. It is a basic diner and serves the type of food you would expect. I am sure that most of the entrees start out frozen, but they end up tasting decent. The ambiance is what puts Tally's near the top of my... More
