Daughter was in the mood for Chick Fill A but her phone app misguided her. As we were mislead we dove by this place and decided to go back and give it a try. She had the turkey avocado wrap that she was not able to finish and I had the Fiesta chicken wrap. My wrap was huge, tasty and... More

This place has been here for along time, I can remember going here in the 80's when I was a kid. It's kind of pricey but the food is of a high quality and is prepared very well. Try one of the shakes they are very good.

My daughter and I recently visited Big Al's Healthy Food for lunch on a Friday afternoon. After looking at the extensive menu, we chose the Chicken Caesar Wrap and the Tuscan Turkey Grilled Wrap. We found a table by the window and by the time we had gotten our drinks our order was ready. The Chicken Caesar wrap came with... More

The last time I went to Big Al's before yesterday was more than 40 years ago. At that time there wasn't much to choose from in the way of vegetarian food in Tulsa. There was a juice bar on 3rd street near downtown full of old men (my age now) who all looked like Jack Lalanne (not like me) or... More

This is a Tulsa institution - I went there 30 years ago and thought is was amazing. Just as good when I went last week. These are folks who know quality food. Not a huge menu, but what they do, they do well and distinctly. Love the sandwiches. Lots of people had the wraps and salads. Don't be underwhelmed by... More

In Tulsa for a concert, we visited Big Al's on the recommendation of a visiting scholar. What a great place! A huge selection of vegetarian and non-vegetarian food, reasonably priced drinks, and all kinds of smoothies! Once we'd seen the size of the wraps, we decided to split the turkey supreme burrito. Good thing we split it - it was... More

Big Al's was one of the first "health food" restaurants in Tulsa and one of the first places that served vegetarian food back in the 1960's and 70's. It is basically a sandwich shop so don't expect a great dining experience with tons of ambiance. The food is good and you can get take out. Reasonable prices and quick service.... More

I have been to Tulsa a few times for work and while I love their little, unique restaurant scene, I have always come back home craving a salad and some veggies. I made a point on this trip to find a place in Tulsa that would not break my diet or bank account and Big Al's did the trick. I... More

I generally hit up Al's for lunch once every couple of months or so. I typically call in my order ahead of time and then pick up. They are very fast, it typically only takes them about 10-15 minutes to have my order ready. The fiesta chicken wrap is very, very good. I usually get a side of tabouli which... More
