Excellent food and courteous, thoughtful service. Great spot for breakfast or lunch, and dinner is not to be missed in the Geiser Grand's adjoining dining room.

We were in Baker City on a Sunday evening and this was one of the few dinner options available as many others were closed. Luckily it was really good! We had steamed clams that were fantastic and a seared salmon dish that was also very good. Service was fast and friendly in the bar area where we sat. The historic... More

Our party of four were touring Baker City on a very quiet November week end. Most of the restaurants were closed, but the Geiser Grill in this old, restored hotel was open. The restaurant's atmosphere was one of an English pub with lots of wooden paneling and brass detailing. The grill was almost empty. We were greeted warmly, seated quickly... More

It's hard to find this kind of elegance for a reasonable price. The staff are wonderful, the food was delicious and they just don't make dining rooms like theirs anymore. Definitely worth a visit.

Good selection of craft beer and wine. We opted to eat there instead of the hotel dining room. Huge pieces of artichoke in the spinach dip are worth the stop alone.

We literally stumbled into this place, looking for breakfast on a Sunday morning. There's not a lot happening in Baker City on Sunday, in case you were wondering. But this grand old hotel is open, and they served us a delicious brunch. I always give a lot of weight to the coffee. This was a very rich, dark roast with... More

Best orange juice and bacon I've had in years! And a charming sunny room to enjoy it. Interesting breakfast menu. Classic breakfast was great, wish I had had another day to try other menu offerings.

We checked in to the Geiser Grand and were hungry so we stepped into the Grill and found out the folks at the hotel can cook. Make sure you eat here because it has a little for everyone. The home made bread is outstanding and the locally made jelly is oh so good.

Staying a few nights in Baker City on our way home to Vegas. Stopped for Happy Hour. Great bartender, Kristy. She made great a Lemon Drop & Cosmo martinis. Only $5 in bar during Happy Hour, 3-6pm. Decided to stay for dinner. Ate in the bar. Outta meatballs...dang. Had Chicken Parm, homemade sausage plate, and New York with local mushrooms.... More
