I find it pretty hard in Beaverton to find a good breakfast place. The coffee and food are good. The restaurant is clean. The restaurant is always very busy on the weekends. When I go to breakfast this is definitely on the list.

I went for breakfast with my friends while visiting Portland. The staff are so friendly and immediately ushered us to our seats. The restaurant was busy which was a good sign. I ordered the bear grizz the first morning. The pancakes are immense with the bacon and eggs tasting so good. Portion size was incredible. The 2nd morning I ordered... More

I have been to the diner 2 times before, in Klamath Falls and in Vancouver but I had not taken my wife and mother-in-law. Since the one in Beaverton is more or less on the way back from Forest Grove, I took the opportunity to introduce them to it and they loved it! We shared 3 entres, one each from... More

Large servings of standard fair food. My husband loves the biscuits. You certainly get lots of food for the price you pay. I usually have to take home half for another meal.

Everything is delicious here - the eggs, bacon, pancakes. Be very hungry when you get here. Or do what we do and order a full breakfast to split with an extra order of eggs. That's plenty of food for two.

Very nice dinner - great service. We've never had a bad meal at a Black Bear Diner. They packaged our leftovers for us to take back to hotel and provided us with utensils and napkins. Gave us 10% for staying at adjacent hotel.

They have very large portions. I ordered a "side" of pancakes and the 2 pancakes are double the size of my hand. That was more a meal than a side. It is a very very busy place. they have a bear mascot wandering around giving people hugs and high fives. We went around brunch on a sunday it was veryyyyyyyyyyyyy... More

Since the Hotel next to it does not have a restaurant/bar I got dinner here. Very good portions and their Menu is pretty long. Good prices too

We always go here for dinner before going to a school play. Family tradition. Went again tonight for another great meal. The tri-tip French dip was especially tasty. In the past have had great burgers, fish and chips, meatloaf, and taco salad. Always personable and fast service. Prices are fair and moderate. Solid and consistent place.
