We had lunch; A salmon salad and a salad and bowl of clam chowder. The price was average to high. The restaurant was very busy but we seemed to be served in a timely manner for such a busy place. It was crowded and loud...More

We had dinner on our last night in Cannon Beach at Driftwood. We have been going there for years. We had a great meal and exemplary service. It was a crowded 7:30 seating. They handled a lot of people well. We loved the seats in...More

The Driftwood is busy at lunch, at mid afternoon and dinner. We went later in the afternoon, drawn by its famous clam chowder. Visitors must try it, especially if you're from land locked regions without fresh fish. Service was fast and friendly - in fact,...More

We enjoyed sitting on the patio watching people watching while drinking a glass of wine and eating a light supper of clam chowder. It was delicious, full of bacon flavor, potatoes and clams, creamy and served hot.

What a perfect evening--thank you, raskiebub--we are delighted we were a part of it. We also really loved reading your awesome description of our chowder, your words make us want a bowl right now! Thanks again, we hope to see you back here soon!

Food okay. Seating great outdoors. Salad was just a bunch of iceberg lettuce and a cherry tomato. Prime rib was very good. Shrimp were just shrimp. Good but no real attention paid to them.More

The Driftwood has a very nice outdoor-street-side Adult eating-drinking area. Inside, the family-side of the restaurant is fairly “old school” with low ceilings, captain chairs with high density placement of tables. The bar side area is like walking back in time with 1960 dark décor...More

I had the salmon which was dry and the clam chowder which was bland. Was disappointed in the food but the waiter and service overall was excellent. Had a seat outside by the firepit which was nice.

We are delighted you enjoyed our service and location, but are truly disappointed your food wasn't more enjoyable for you. We hope we'll have a chance to redeem our salmon for you on your next visit! Thank you.

I want ed a light meal and chose the salmon Caesar salad. It was good and filling, but the presentation was just so-so.

Nice seafood restaurant with a good selection of vegetarian and gluten free food (and Omission beer). The Pacific Coho salmon was great. Wish they had a safe deep fryer for gluten free fries and fish.
