The restaurant is ok, but not great. The staff is friendly, but the service was slow. The food wasn't anything special and somewhat overpriced.

Lunch was very good. We had the tuna sandwich and the shrimp and avocado sandwich on sourdough bread. The bread was very fresh and both were very tasty. Service was prompt and friendly.

Morris's has a fireplace right in the middle of the restaurant that gives it a cozy air. The food is very good and the portions are large. It was a little pricey.

Our first attempt to eat at Morris' Fireside fell through, as the restaurant was closed on a Wednesday (!) that we were there. We went back later and enjoyed the ambience of the log cabin atmosphere, especially the huge artist-made copper halibut hanging over the fireplace (see photo). My husband had the meat loaf sandwich. Morris' is apparently famous for... More

We had a quick visit to Cannon Beach on our tour and stopped in to Morris's Fireside restaurant, the log cabin restaurant. We ordered a cup of clam chowder and were very surprised at the substantial size of the cup. The clam chowder was absolutely delicious, the best I've ever eaten. My friend asked for a bun with hers and... More

Six Kentucky travelers had lunch at Morris' and everyone was delighted. We were waited on by Tom Morris who could not have been nicer. I checked him out and found he was the owner with a wonderful family history of the restaurant. With a twinkle in his eye he said, I would love their famous" bloody Mary" and boy did... More

This place has some less than favourable reviews on TA but we wanted to give it a try as it was very close to our accommodation. I'm really glad we did. It was quiet on a Monday night but the waitress was very smiley & helpful. We chose to have the crab-cakes-3 good patties, full of crab meat served with... More

The best word to describe Morris': ho-hum. The atmosphere is great in what was an old log house...the food was flat; unseasoned mostly, but lacking anything the modern foodie would appreciate....

We recently had breakfast here and were impressed; nice restaurant with friendly staff, excellent food and great value for money.
