The Horse Radish is a fabulous place to stop for lunch. The Italian sandwich is off the chart as is the daily soup special. Try it for sure.

We stopped in Carlton on our way from the coast to Salem. The stop in Carlton for lunch was delightful. This restaurant has outside seating as well as inside. The food was fresh and very good.

Small family owned restaurant with fantastic food. The smoked salmon was out favorite and they were happy to share the recipe. We are so glad they did, we have made this dip many times over!

Stopped in here for a bite to eat after a rigorous afternoon of wine tasting/touring. What a find. The sandwiches were excellent, as was the service. Would recommend it to anyone. Seems like a family friendly place as well.
We had 2 different sandwiches, and a small salad. All were very good. I had a glass of the chardonnay from the restaurant wine maker. It was pretty mediocre at best. Service was good.
