This is a hidden gem to anyone outside the university setting. My son and I went there about 9pm on a Sunday evening. It became my favorite place to take everyone to! The place is quaint with old wooden booths. We ordered the special which was a salmon dish. Oh, my goodness, it was a savory delight! I can't wait... More

I'm calling this a Hidden Gem because we are not from here, and we would not have stumbled across this gem of a Bistro if it hadn't come up on my GPS. We had the thin onion rings for an appie - oh my goodness, the best onion rings we have ever had!!! My husband enjoyed his burger, and I... More

Stumbled into the bistro when the line for Studio One was simply too long. Loved the ambiance nearest the patio, but was happy dining in the bar area. Service was friendly and helpful. All three of our meals were tasty with a new variation and large portions. My French toast had whipped cream with Irish cream and maple syrup with... More

If TA would allow, I would have actually rated this somewhere between average and very good - it's better than average but not quite "very good". I had the 5 cheese mac n cheese which was great but my wife had salmon with garlic mashers & she said that it was just OK. Our server was attentive & prompt. The... More

Very good food menu and craft beers selection. Burgers are first rate. Wonderful to sit outside on a warm summer day.

We went to Agate Alley once for brunch and never went back. The interior looks like it was never renovated - sad and depressing. There weren't a lot of people there yet the servers moved at a glacial pace. It just didn't make sense for it to take an hour to get our food when there weren't many customers. I... More

This was either a great day or the worst day to test a restaurant. Just a block away from the U.S. Olympic Track & Field Trials at Historic Hayward Field, where more than 20,000 were attending the big meet and its surrounding fan festival, Agate Alley Bistro sits next to two other restaurants and across the street from the town's... We came here for the first time on graduation day. Despite the full capacity and our group of over a dozen, the food and service was excellent. You can really tell how the kitchen and staff are when you have a big group and they did the job as one would want. Drinks were surprisingly low priced and yet good... More

Had lunch here last Friday. The experience was great. Had a creative seafood sandwich and a cup of clam chowder. The seasoning in the chowder was heavenly. The sandwich was great. Service was great and did not interrupt our conversation.

This is a great place for Sunday brunch. They have amazing choices. Their French toast and omelets are incredible. You will want to order one of each. This place is also popular late at night. It is one of the few places in Eugene that is open late and you can go to after a movie or play.
