I ate here two nights in a row with a group of ten people. The salads are great--the first night pistachio salad was as good as any I've had anywhere. The second night house salad with blue cheese was crispy and refreshing. The entrees were disappointing. I had lamb osso bucco the first night and it was anything but "jump... More

Thanks for taking the time to review your experience and we're sorry to hear you were less than satisfied with your meals with us. We're working on perfecting the timing of food distribution for large parties and fear that could have played a role in your dinners on the second evening. As for the quality of your lamb osso bucco,... More

We got here during happy hour which is very short happy hour! 4:30-6:00! We got here at 5:30, ordered calamari and stuffed mushrooms. Ordered a hef off the beer menu, waiter informs us they're out, tells us they have a citrus mistress and we order that, within 30 seconds waited says "aaaah no we don't have that either." ...ok what... Just wanted to be able to share a couple of drinks with my wife and we were not disappointed. Friendly atmosphere, busy but more importantly the service is very attentive. Wonderful drinks and the food is very good.

After not visiting Ambrosia for several years, I recently went back. We were pleased with our food, and after a brief drink mix-up, which was quickly fixed, all was fine for the rest of our meal. Good menu selection as well! Give it a try-----

I flew in from Alaska and wanted to take my daughter, son-in-law and grandson out for a special dinner. It was their 3rd wedding anniversary. We had somewhere else planned, but complications arose and we were suddenly looking for an alternative. Ambrosia was the winner in an extensive search of restaurants, but we didn't really know what to expect. Here's... More

It's true what they say about complaints and compliments. People are much more likely to complain and I'm guilty. I have never complimented this location, except live and in color to my friends, over the last year when we've visited. Years ago we used to patronize and quit because of the service and lack of consistency but tried them again... More

Hi Leslie, I'd like to personally thank you for your patronage over the years and apologize for your disappointing recent experience. You obviously know our menu and service and know when things aren't as they should be. One of the biggest challenges of being in business for nearly 30 years is keeping consistency when we bring on new staff. We... More

$35 for the halibut special. Small halibut special. Wine by the glass was very expensive for approx 2"of wine in the glass. According to server, some bartenders over pour but the tiny amounts in our glasses were correct. So the next table having a what a normal person would consider a proper amount in their glasses was "wrong"? Go there... More

My husband & I found this cheerful bistro pleasant and the service attentive. With reservations, we were seated at a quiet table upstairs overlooking the street activity. To start, we shared insalate caprese using heirloom tomatoes served with warm herb bread. The lasagne I ordered was wonderful...made with fresh pasta, and my tempranillo matched the dish perfectly. My husband ordered... More

We were able to walk in and had a 5 min wait for a table. We enjoyed the crab stuffed mushrooms and a pineapple mojito. For entrées we had the seafood pasta special which was light and very good. The calzone was also very good but could have been hotter inside. Overall a very good dining evening!

We arrived With a reservation. Treating my sister to a $150 meal. What a disappointment! I was embarrassed! They serve our wine, it's like 1 oz. They serve the other table next to us, they got a good pour. We complained and were told, just changed shifts and now have a new bartender? Inconsistent. My husband ordered a filet, it... More

Ambrosia was born from a love of italian tradition around food and wine. There is no better way to celebrate life than sharing a comforting meal with friends and family at the table! We feature classic italian cuisine inspired by the vibrant Pacific Northwest, and are known for our seasonal menu and nightly specials featuring local produce, seafood and meats, handmade pastas, wood-fired pizza and housemade classic italian desserts. We have an extensive wine list and sommeliers on staff, a full bar featuring local beers and hand-crafted cocktails and sodas. Weeknight happy hour. Our warm interior is decorated with classic furniture, primarily from the original owners of the building who were antique dealers. The soul of the restaurant is its wood-fired brick oven which was imported from Italy in pieces and assembled on site.
