Food was better on previous visit. Servers are very friendly. They forgot some of my breakfast items. Tables seated near the kitchen will have a hard time talking amongst themselves because of loud kitchen racket. Servers have to shout orders out. Will go elsewhere next time in town.

It was very busy but did not have to wait for a table. The service was excellent but will not order the Loco Moco again, the quality of the hamburger was not very good it had fat and gristle in it but the egg/rice/gravy was good.

Good food, fast and friendly service. Nice family-owned business. Not a fancy place but definitely a classic breakfast place.

Upbeat energetic staff, hearty traditional big breakfasts make this casual spot a big hit with students and townies for getting together in the morning. Omelettes, pancakes, homefries, sides of various sorts, good coffee...it's an update of the 50s small town traditional high cholesterol, last-til-dinner menu in a cozy, bustling spot.

The college crowd, and lots of others, love this place. Frankly, I think it is very overrated. The food is marginal...and usually quite greasy. I suppose for what it is, it's just fine. If you like frozen hash browns and like related items, this is your place.

Nothing remarkable. Near U of O, lots of students. Very noisy. Standard breakfast faire. Average prices. Side of fruit was not canned.

We lived in Eugene for a year and a half and didn't go to Brails. I don't know why, because whenever I'm in town now, I head to Brails. GREAT diner coffee, nice and strong but not bitter; terrific, crunchy, hot hashbrowns, and the best servers around. Why? Because each one is polite to each other, fast, and works to... More

Food was very good. Had the chicken fried steak and eggs, which were outstanding. The only drawback here is the parking is difficult and the the restaurant "lay out" is all chopped up into rooms. Atmosphere suffers because of this. Prices were reasonable and about the average for a breakfast restaurant. We'd go there again.

The food here reminds me of a chain restaurant. Nothing had much no flavor, the eggs are flat, the hash was soggy and it was all greasy. The place is in serious need of repair out front which leads me to believe the kitchen is also.

This place is bustling and busy and noisy and popular. Service was very good and the food was plentiful and tasty. Of the three in our party, one had a noodle bowl, one had biscuits and gravy and one had the vegetarian eggs Benedict. Everyone was pleased with their choice and nobody left hungry.
