Bruno working the kitchen. Great bottle of wine...superb steamer clams...chicken dish hot from the saute pan...warmed the soul this cold winter night. We will return soon!

We first dined at Bruno's Chef's Kitchen in June 2016 and were so impressed with the experience that we took out-of-town guests there in Sept. While new to us, Bruno's apparently has been a fixture in Eugene, OR for a number of years. I would suggest going to Bruno's website & it can explain better than I ever could what... More

Tom Bruno is, arguably, the best and most experienced chef in Eugene. Coming to this quirky outpost in south Eugene is always a special treat. You're paying high prices, not for the decor, not for the notoriety, not even for the service (which is just fine). You are paying for the food. Fresh, upscale ingredients coupled with creative, proven recipes... More

The food was exceptional and it was early to be eating dinner, about 5:30 but there was no one else that came in or dined while I did. The price is high, but it was awesome food. It is very small only seats about 15 people.

This place was recommended by friends who are regulars and they were right. Despite the prices which are higher than usual, the ingredients are fresh, the tastes remarkable, and the meal worth it!

Just as the title says. The menu was hand written and consisted of specials for that week. Every entrèe item was between 27 and 35 dollars, I ordered the wienershnitzel with dumplings and it was delicious!!! Five stars for food quality from me as well as service. There were six of us, and with drinks and desserts the bill was... More

We went for dinner last night. It's a quirky, informal place with tasty food. But bizarre to pay $30 for a chicken breast. If it were $15 this would be five stars.

This is the best restaurant in Eugene, Oregon. The food is amazing! We had the seared tuna appetizer- to DIE for. My husband had the filet cooked medium rare and it was perfect! I had the salmon and dungenous crab which was superb! Huge portions as we are taking dessert home. Totally worth the price as I appreciate a good... More

I found this restaurant by accident 10ish yrs ago. I have been eating there ever since. It is the BEST restaurant in Eugene. Try the saki duck, scallops with truffles, venison and rabbit in white sauce and tarragon. The last entree is my "ALL TIME FAVORITE MEAL EVER". The presentation of the meals are beautiful. I love the fact that... More

This little restaurant is tucked away in an alley next to a quicky mart and a laundry. the service was good and the food was excellent. One thing I like is the menu changes weekly so there will always be a new dish to try. we started with the Gnocchi di tartuffi and oysters bordelaise which were very good. to... More
