This place was so good! We all had the MHBC Burger and it was delicious after a long day of hiking. I had mine with a gluten free bun and bacon. The bacon is chopped, not sliced but still delicious! I also had their freshly...More

Average food and beer. Left standing waiting to be seated as staff passed us numerous times. Seemed too busy to bother with us or other groups, despite having plenty of empty tables. But stopped to tell our kids to get off empty seats at empty...More

I greatly appreciate the ability to get a fantastic beer in the foothills of Mount Hood, but overall, we found our food to be average. Typical bar food, with an abundance of French fries. (We refer to this meal as the "meal o' fries".) They...More

We stopped in Government Camp for lunch on our way to Central Oregon. Easy spot to stop, even while towing a trailer and great lunch. It was nice to sit outside on the patio and enjoy the sun. Great burger, quesadilla and salad - everyone...More

This is a fun brewery, but it's also the only brewery in town, so prepare to wait a while for a seat, and longer while to get your food and beverages. Beer is awesome, and the food is your standard pub fare, but not awful....More

Worth a stop! A wonderful microbrewery with great food. The menu has an unusual twist from the same boring typical pub food. It is still practical enough to be appealing to most.

Good place to visit, there is a good selection of beers which they brew on site. Of varying styles but a little too strong if you are driving. The food was excellent and some different options, the fondue was good choice as are the salads....More

After nearly 2 weeks touring, how great to find a restaurant that really cares about the appearance and flavours of the food it serves. Great salads, excellent burgers and the polenta cake that came with the meatloaf was perfect. Add to this a great range...More

We got on TripAdviser and saw this was number one and right next to or hotel. SCORE! High end bar fare with the deliciousness of the big city and friendliness of a small mountain town. Our waitress gave us her favorite suggestions and we went...More

Might be able to but that would be pushing it. It's like a small restaurant or pizza parlor. I'd call them

Description
In January 1991 the Mt Hood Brewing Company opened, serving locally-produced beers and hearty pub fare in a family-friendly atmosphere. In October 1992, the newly constructed ten barrel brewery rolled out its first barrel. Eight distinctive ales are produced by the union of pure glacial water, Pacific Northwest barley and hops and the inspiration of the Mt Hood Brewing Co's brewers. These delightful beers can be enjoyed at the Mt Hood Brewing Co brewpub in Government Camp and throughout Timberline's other Mt Hood restaurants. Oregonians can also find these ales on draft at restaurants throughout the state. The Mt Hood Brewing Co was founded upon the notion that, like the best wines, beer is best produced in small, handcrafted batches utilizing the finest ingredients. The brewery's commitment to this standard demands that each keg arrives at its destination while still in its prime, fresh and wholesome. Thus, none of the beer leaves the State of Oregon. Like the beer, Mt Hood Brewing Co's food is always fresh and locally-sourced. Kids and adults alike enjoy the pub's tasty starters, signature pizzas and hearty entrees. Many menu items are prepared with Mt Hood Brewing Co beer and are best paired with a cold pint. Thousands of skiers, tourists and locals have made the Mt Hood Brewing Co an institution on the south slope of Mount Hood.
