We went here for lunch when visiting Mt. Hood on a recommendation from a friend. The food was good and the serving were huge. They had several items for dessert. I had the huckleberry pie and it was wonderful. Another person in my group got...More

We just got pie to go. They were very helpful there and we liked the apple pie and huckleberry pie very much.

We had breakfast there yesterday, nothing special. Food was not worth the price. 2 eggs, sausage, hash browns and eggs will cost about $11.00 .

This is a great place to eat before going skiing or snowshoeing in Government Camp. The portions are huge. You might want to consider sharing a plate. The place gets crowded on weekends especially if the snow is good.

OK food, warm and cheap but nothing special. Probably best to come here for the Huckleberry pancakes and a hot chocolate rather than a burger or chilli. Reminiscent of a 1970's Yankee roadside diner!

Went in for the first meal of the day around 10:30 am the day after Christmas. This is an older establishment with a cabin feel. Prices were higher but not shocking-(thats expected in every place near a ski location). What was shocking was the quantity...More

I first encountered this restaurant in 1970. I was on the Trailways bus which stopped there for a rest. I ordered a butter horn and hot chocolate. It was huge (still are) and the cinnamon and the frosting were the best. The staff is very...More

Food was ok. Service was slow even though the place was not busy. Our server was very busy chatting with several apparent locals. She served us with no conversation, no smile, no graciousness and no attention to the fact we had our food, yet had...More

I stopped here while driving through the National Forest. I was starving and this was the first place I saw. Prices seemed a bit higher than I expected but the portions are huge! Food was good... I had the Mt Hood omelet and couldn’t finish...More

This is a diner - more on the small side. I would not recommend it for a large group. The day we were there, it was hard enough to find seating for 2 of us. We sat at the counter.

I doubt they have gift certificates, but am not sure. Very good home style food, good atmosphere, to die for huckleberry pie. Could call, I'm sure information has number. Government Camp, Or. Quaint little Inn also.
