Stopped in on a Wednesday for late lunch...on the way home from skiing Mt Hood, great local beer selection, awesome meat balls and to die for corn bread. We even ordered some to go! Nice stop on the way down the mountain. Happy faces and tummys.

We travel to this area a few times each year and always go out of our way to stop in here for the baked potato soup and cornbread. The soup is served piping hot and has a wonderfully rich, just-the-right-amount-of-pepper flavor. In fact, this time, we drove from the Skamania Lodge area just to satisfy the craving. The waitstaff is... More

Next to a lumber mill in Hood River this bar and restaurant was a pleasant surprise. Two pages of pizzas, with and without meat or chicken. They are made in an old fashioned pizza oven. And good. A thin almost cracker like crust. They make their own bar b cue sauce and sandwiches are dressed with imaginative ingredients like marion... More

What a pleasant surprise! We knew nothing of this little restaurant between Parkdale and Hood River, we saw it when we were on the Fruit Loop trail, and came back on our way out of town to get something to eat before we hit the road. We are glad we did. This place has a lot of personality. Lots of... More

Coming back from mountain biking at Timberline, we simply pulled off to eat here when we saw the sign, we had no idea about this place and were hungry. Very happy we did. Good beer selections and the prices offer a very fair value when you consider how expensive some places in Hood River are and certainly how expensive Timberline... More

This is your typical roadside tavern where the locals go for great pizza and a few beers! They do have a separate dinning room if you have children with you.....out door seating as well. Pricing is not cheap, but food quality and taste is wonderful. Situated right by the piles and mounds of logs that are ready for the mill....interesting... More

We had left the Timberline Lodge on Mt. Hood and were driving on Highway 35 toward Hood River and I-84. The lodge price for lunch seemed to high, so we were looking for anywhere to stop. Driving past a lumber mill I spotted the "Saw Tooth Roadhouse" sign and turned in. BOY WERE WE GLAD WE DID!! Initially were sat... More

We had an appetizer and pizza, and left with lunch for the next day. We didn't expect anything fancy, but both the spinach/artichoke dip and the pizza were fantastic. The only complaint would be that there was a family there at the same time with a little kid they refused to parent. The kid kept screaming for no reason. That... More

Stopped for lunch on our roadtrip from Columbia Gorge to Mount Hood. Very unassuming little place next to piles of wood off the highway. Even though reviews recommended pizza, we chose the hot sandwiches. The bread was to die for, and left is very satisfied. What a treat in the middle of no where!
