Tolly's is very well known for it's excellent food and home made cakes and pies. The atmosphere is brilliant, very old fashioned, very quaint. Definitely a DO NOT MISS place for lunch or dinner.

The restaurant has a lot of history. I enjoyed looking at the Christmas decorations, the soda fountain & the elegance, so much character. The hamburgers are really good & fresh made French fries. I am looking forward to going back.

Tolly's is gorgeous!! And honestly it used to be so expensive but they have changed that drastically and the quality hasn't changed a bit. You can now go in at any point throughout the day and eat a nice meal for two for under 25$ easily! I recently went with a friend and we spent a couple hours talking and... More

this little town is worth visiting - get off the highway, it's only a few extra minutes. we had a wonderful little walk around town before landing at Tolly's. the décor is so pleasing and puts you back in a simpler era. the food was delicious and service friendly and quick.

We stopped for lunch while driving south on I-5. Really striking place with building dating from 1890's. Beautiful decor, great friendly service and very good food. Highly recommended. We'll be back!

Old fashioned soda fountain in the heart of downtown Oakland. Great menu and reasonable prices. Treat yourself to ice cream and/or lunch during a shopping trip for antiques.

Most of the entire downtown storefronts have front window labels telling you a bit of the history of the building. Tollys has been beautifully restored with tables for dining in the back, a soda fountain, and a bar. We shared a LARGE sandwich and a strawberry Italian soda. The placed is as delightful to the eyes as to the tummy.... More

You'll notice that most of the positive reviews are from people passing through. The reason is that, although the food is acceptable and hamburgers in particular are very good, the service is abysmal. We like the ambiance too so, on several occasions a few years apart, we have gone there for lunch or dinner but have put them on the... More

This was our first experience in three years. We wanted somewhere a little nicer than usual, and Tollys has a fairly good reputation and has a big billboard ad,so we tried it.We were looking for dinner,so we called to find out when they started serving. They told us dinner started at four pm.When we went in,we were told that dinner started at five,so... Tolly's is located in a historic brick building built in 1872. It originally housed the towns drug store and mercantile. As you walk into the restaurant you immediately feel as though you have gone back in time to another era. Local art lines the walls and there are cabinets and displays of antiques throughout the entire facility. We have an antique soda fountain circa 1901 that was recently refurbished and is functional. The bar has a back bar originally built in 1910, there is an 1885 Bosendorffer concert grand piano, 1 of only 3 not in a museum, piano music is played for diners Friday and Saturday evenings. Outside we have beautiful patio, gardens and Koi pond. Hope to see you for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
