This place has amazing food. Have never had a bad breakfast. Go hungry or share. If you like the chicken and biscuit add the bacon gravy and cheese so good and egg to top it off.

We stopped in for a drink as my parents and I were in an impromptu restaurant crawl. I had a craving for a biscuit with butter and marionberry jam and so this was the perfect stop! We each got a drink - I had a double IPA, my mom had a whiskey cocktail and my dad had a poor man'shattan... More

Pine State serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. It's a VERY popular place for weekend brunch in particular. A lot of the menu options do have a biscuit involved but it essentially is just holding the food together on your plate! The biscuits ARE wonderful, flaky, tender. The Reggie is a very popular choice (fried chicken, bacon, cheese, topped with gravy... More

Who doesn't love biscuits and these are giant biscuits filled with whatever you can fit between the giant halves. First off there is a line outside to get in to order. Hours are 7:00am and close at 3:00pm. There is always a line. They also make cinnamon rolls, but you need to get there early as they run out before... More

I'm in Portland once a month for business and always looking for new and unique food. On past trips I was not able to find any of the locations. This time I decided to park and walk a bit. The NE Alberta location is not well marked. In fact I thought it was a brewery until I walked in. I... More

I met a friend here for breakfast. The atmosphere was hip/industrial. I had the Super Reggie (breakfast sandwich) and hash browns and enjoyed every bite. This is a place that I would recommend if you are looking for a hearty breakfast.

We stopped here for breakfast. We had to go around the block a few times to find parking. The service was fast and employees were super friendly. The shrimp and grits were very good. Got a lemonade to go and that was great too. We will be back next time we are in town.

Amazing biscuits although all of the food is amazing. The chicken pot pie is a must try. Also the biscuits with mushroom gravy is heavenly. I haven't had anything here that I did not like. Even a simple biscuit with butter and strawberry jam. Don't let that long line discourage you, it's worth every second you have to wait.

We tried Pine State Biscuits at the Saturday market. They were made there and fresh. They had a crispiness to the bottoms that was perfect. Although we only had them with jam and butter, they were just what we needed. Want to go back and try the biscuits and gravy or the egg and cheese biscuit. Try them you will... More
