I LOVE this place! Their coffee is great, full flavor, not burnt, and very smooth. Definitely get their Homemade OREO's! It goes perfectly with their latte. Great vibe, lots of options, and a great place to start your day. Lots of available seating, super chill.

The oddest thing about this cafe is its hardwood floors. They're unfinished. That's O.K., but the floor itself is uneven in places, particularly near the wall, and there are these odd gouges in the floor where something happened long before this coffee shop was there. I find it somewhat intriguing. Careful not to sit so that your chair leg goes... More

Recommended by one of our favourite roasters (Noble Coffee Roasting, Ashland, OR) we had high expectations. Lovely little place, fairly small yet with a spacious feel...attractive, elegant/rustic decor, friendly staff and delicious coffee. Missed having pour over options, cortados, etc but their Blendo Stupendo "drip" was very smooth and easy to drink black (we're not black coffee drinkers). Both the... More

I was in Coffeehouse Northwest to see an art exhibition. They have a good selection of coffee and a cool atmosphere. It´s a nice place to meet friends, to work and have a great coffee.

What a wonderful little gem. The coffee was spectacular, I saw everyone recommended their vanilla latte and I was hesitant at first because I don't like sweet drinks in the morning but the barista was so helpful and knowledgeable on where the vanilla came from and how it was natural and specially made for them. Such a nice place! Good... More

Small warm place with great coffeehouse atmosphere. Cappuccino is delightful! Internet is free and fast. Some nice snacks. I especially enjoyed the small sandwich.

We tried a latte and a cappuccino, along with a peach pastry and a bread/cheese item. The coffee was very well made, and the treats were absolutely delicious. The interior or the shop is very charming, and the staff was great and friendly. Highly recommend a stop if you're in the area.

This is my go-to place in Portland for consistently, excellent latte's. The coffee they use is very high quality, the latte's are always creamy, balanced and delicious.

We are visiting in Portland for a few weeks and had no idea where to go for good coffee, since our hosts are not coffee drinkers. Some quick work online provided us with Coffeehouse Northwest and we’re glad we went. Situated directly across the street from a Starbucks, this little place holds its own. It’s cool and cozy, currently with... More
