Finally some good authentic Chinese food! The soup is delicious, the noodles are good but the real star of the show is the BBQ. I'm surprised this place is (supposedly?) a noodle house, they seemed very much focused on said BBQ. The environment and service are basic but very sufficient, and the place was rightfully packed when we ate there.

We often combine take out BBQ from Good Taste with a neighboring restaurant's soup. Not that Good Taste doesn't have OK soup, it's just that their other noodle dishes are better. Regardless, value here is good for everything, excellent for BBQ duck or pork! It is likely you will make it a favorite 82nd Ave. destination as we have.

They make their own won tons (the really kind with a filling!). Fabulous won ton soups with roast pork or char sui or both! They also sell Chinese barbeque meats. A good Chinese food menu too. Family style at kitchen tables but inexpensive! You must try their lechon (Chinese crispy roast pork) it is fantastic with its crispy, crunchy skin!

My family goes to this restaurant every chance we get when we are in Portland. Their won ton are larger than most places. There are all kinds of choices for noodles to go with it - wide or skinny rice noodles or regular egg noodles. You can also get a variety of things to go with it - roast duck,... More

The reviews praise the living daylights out of this place -- we found it pleasant but... basic. Had the wonton soup -- really big meatballs in it, somewhat bland broth -- combination roast pork and duck on dry egg noodles -- could be more plentiful and with more flavor, more meaty duck especially -- and really really good Chinese broccoli... This restaurant is located in a small strip mall off of SE 82nd. You can't see it from the street so I would use a GPS so you don't miss it. There are other nice stores in that same complex like a bakery. The noodle dishes there are great and are consistant. I must have eaten there at least 20... More

Ordered chow fun noodles and dumplings which were both absolutely wonderful. Also ordered fried rice which was OK with bits of pork and even baby calamari but it failed in comparison to the other dishes. Dumplings reminded me of those served in Hong Kong and Beijing, nothing like anything I have found in the US. No atmosphere and service was... More

I was born and raised in Asia, and this is really the best Chinese restaurant to eat. The food is really fantastic, and you can easily feed a family of 4 for $50 (with leftovers to take home). However, there is nothing facy about the place, so you may not want to take your first date there unless you are... More

This is a fabulous place if you like Chinese noodles and dumplngs! They make their own egg noodles and chow fun noodles. You bowl of wonton min is full of wonton and noodles. Unlike other places who skimp of the frozen wonton, these are made fresh! They also make Chinese barbeque, roast duck and crispy Chinese pork! The food is... More
