My hubby and I decided to eat here on a whim! We absolutely loved it! What we did was get a variety plate of appetizers and each got a main course so we could try as many different things as possible! The owner was great!!! She added to our fun experience! We look forward to returning again when we are... More

Hawaiian meets Swiss. The owners are fun and extremely friendly. The food is definitely worth a try, although it is a bit of an adventure!

Swiss Hibiscus is a fun, unique, boutique restaurant. It is small, seating probably no more than thirty. It would be fine for a quiet meal for one or two couples, or for families with kids. We celebrated a ninth birthday party there with a mix of children and adults, and everyone had a good time. The cuisine is authentic and... More

Swiss roots meet American ingredients. While not fully authentic, the fare is not bad. Zurich geschnetzeltes is an all-porcine (no veal) affair done adequately while the rostli could've been a tad crisper. Soup was executed flawlessly. Tasty until one gets to Heidi-land itself. En guete!

Love this place! The chef/owner's father was a famous chef in Hawaii at The Kahala Hilton. Then he opened his own successful restaurant in Niu Valley on Oahu. Closed for many years now, I was delighted to find his daughter and partner had opened this restaurant on Alberta. Many old favorites from the Swiss Inn are here including the famous... More

Just had another amazing meal at Hibiscus. What a gem. Their attention to detail (cold salad plates), the incredible food, and being made to feel like family all come together in a seamless fashion to create a perfect dinner on a cold winter night. Oh and the deserts that we had, were the perfect ending to a fabulous dinner: homemade... More

Not the easiest place to find, but so well worth it. Very few tables expertly served and very friendly. Had to have escargot to start, yum! A rare treat. We both had schnitzel, my wife's was pork wienerschnitzel and mine was paprika schnitzel. We both throughly enjoyed our choices, particularly because they came with spatula, the Swiss version a little... More
