Love this place, especially the walnut rolls! Also biscuits and cakes. Good sandwiches, too. Portland, OR is the bomb for GF restaurants and bakeries!

Stopped here on my way out of Portland before my friend and I went to Voodoo Doughnuts (I was so happy to get something delicious to have before staring at doughnuts longingly). Anyway, Currant Buttermilk scone was amazing and you could have fooled me with its gluten-freeness! Sea Salt Chocolate Chip cookie was incredible!! Buttery, chewy, with sort of a... More

Other reviews have captured many of the benefits of this place. I like that there are plenty of gf option, both sweet and savory, in addition to tasty coffee, tea, and other beverage choices. Another great thing is that all the choices are labeled, so if you have to avoid eggs or nuts or basil or whatever, you can make... More

My seven year old eats gluten free and vegetarian. Anytime we can find a place that can combine both of her needs it is a gem. She walked in and told me she couldn't decide what to have because there were so many choices. It was so good we went two days in a row. The second day my meat... More

Best lemon tart we have ever had. The berry tarts were also really good. We are not gluten intolerant but still found these treats to be better than the vast majority of the wheat-based deserts we normally eat. Really cool, open building as well.

There are other Gluten-free bakeries in town, but this one is my favorite. Not because of the location or service (nothing special there) ... and also not because of the price (this place isn't cheap!), but because the taste of the items is top notch. I went today, but I've been there a few times before It never disappoints! Many... More

So many food options in Portland. Alberta Street is amazing and close to the Everybody's Bike Rental and Tours.

They have some savory options: sandwiches and pizza. All looked good. We had lattes (yum and beautifully presented), a salted chocolate chip cookie, lemon ricotta cake and a chocolate truffle cupcake with coconut frosting. All were tasty. The place is cute. Right on Alberta street. Excited to see so many options in one location. It's nice to tell GF kids... More

I did not have a car available to me during my trip, but was ecstatic to find Tula only 2 blocks from where I was staying. It gets quite busy, but the service is still terrific. Its popularity speaks to its quality. In the morning for coffee and pastry or quiche, lunch and dinner time for soup, sandwich, or salad...... More

Portland is lucky to have so many GF bakeries and Tula Bakery is certainly a GEM. They label all the food so you know if items have dairy, nuts.. . .Everything we have had, except for the coffee, is delicious and a treat.
